2000 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 LS1 V8 T56 Manual Transmissions

From the owner

From the owner:

“Rolling around the idea of selling my 2000 z28 for just the engine, transmission, ecu and harness, the body is rough but the engine and transmission only have 10k miles on them since rebuild. Engine is the original 5.7l LS1 upgraded with an LS6 cam, zzp pushrods and LS7 lifters, the transmission is also the original T56 6spd with just a freshen up. I’m firm on price as I have seen the money the LS engines and T56’s bring, for the price you get an LS catfish and everything to complete a swap if you so choose to do so. For an extra $300 I can throw in a bare 5.3 truck block which I was going to use as a core for a 6.0, a set of heads and an oil pan.”

From Us:

We’d want to read up on the correct rebuild process for an LS1 so we could ask intelligent questions about what process the owner used. For example how far over did he have the block bored? New pistons? rings? rod bolts? Etc. If done properly this seems like a really good price. Cafrax and PPI before you buy.
