“Time to let go of good daily camaro. 6 speed ls1 from a 1998 z28.
Pros.
Umi red strut tower brace.
Ngk spark plugs and msd wires put in last year.
SS wing.
Water pump and thermostat replaced early this year.
New power steering pump(but has power steering leak, so no power steering).
New oem slave cylinder installed this year.
Tick performance clutch master cylinder
Mgw short throw shifter with custom z28 shift knob.
New clutch installed less than 2k miles ago.
K&N cold air intake.
Installed “new” used rear end off 02 ss earlier this year.
85mm MAF .
Good sound system, door speakers and back seat speakers are 6.5, trunk has 2 6x9s and 2 10s in a custom box.
Cons…
Throw out bearing making noise
Car was rear ended back in August but doesn’t affect driving, also has an impact on front driver side, but have replaced fender and front bumper, just the bumper hangs kinda low.
Only gauge that works is battery voltage due to swap from different year.
No power steering or A.C., but heater works.
Common squeaky belt on cold start that goes away once car warm.
Small oil leak.
Amp stopped working.
Car is not perfect obviously. Would make good donor car, just don’t have time or place to part it out. I can take parts off and let it go for cheaper. Will go into full details with serious buyer. Text only. Won’t really have chance to answer calls due to being at work most of the time.
