If I could change anything – paintjob and a tune.
Needs a new oil pressure gauge on the cluster, but it’s very easily replaced. There is an analog oil pressure gauge under the hood.

I am a Ford Diesel Engine and Chassis Master, I built the engine and did all of the wiring myself. I wanted a 5.0 Mustang, but I didn’t want to pay for what I thought at the time was too much money for someone else’s GT. I specifically built this combination so that I could have the fuel injected 5.0 engine, but also the ability to datalog and tune using the OBD2 port. The car is a blast to drive, and great for heal-toe shifting – I’ve said before that it feels like I’m driving around a giant middle finger. I have gotten many compliments on how it sounds, and how clean the swap looks. I have all of the wiring changes that I have made documented in a binder that will go with the car (using FoMoCo wiring diagrams), in addition to any information that came with certain parts, like how to configure the Dakota digital modules. If there is something that you are unhappy with or would like changed before you take delivery of the car, we can work something out – even if there is something that you would like modified. Back to the v6 part. The body of the car is pretty much unchanged, and is VIN’d as a v6 coupe, but also has an 8.8 (GT) rear end swapped in). The car is still using the factory body harness, meaning this drivetrain could relatively easily be swapped into another v6 body. All of the changes that allowed for the swap were done in the engine harness that I built personally. Lastly, the car can easily be swapped to an automatic with no rewiring needed (I specifically left all of those circuits in the harness).

From us:

It sounds like the owner really knows what he’s doing and we like the decrease in insurance expense from the v6 base car as well as all of the tasteful modifications. PPI and Carfax before you buy!
