From the owner:
“Up for sale is my super clean E36 chassis BMW!! If you’re looking for a commuter, weekend track car or a first car, this is a perfect car for you! These cars are incredibly hard to find, as they are so nimble and fun that they are generally pretty abused! This car was special ordered at North Hollywood BMW in 1995 with a rare combination of white paint and brown leather interior. From then on out, this bmw was maintained by certified BMW mechanics in various shops across California. Aside from wheels, tires and a cooling system overhaul, this car has remained the same as the day it drove off of the lot!
168k miles
5 speed manual
about 20k on a new clutch and flywheel from BMW
New: Radiator, E-Fan conversion, water pump w/ metal impeller, thermostat, thermostat housing,
This car is in excellent shape for being 24 years old, but as you may expect, it’s not perfect! as of right now, the car does need a new tail light housing as the contacts are bent back on one of the brake light bulb connections. You may also want to get an alignment done soon. I will get these things done as I have time, but the price takes these things into consideration.
The car can be seen in front of Mickey’s car lot in McKinleyville for the time being. If you would like to drive this fun car, shoot me a text and I would be happy to hand you the keys! I would love to keep it for myself but as I don’t need it for a long commute I am trying to sell it to buy a house! Thanks for looking!
-James”
From us:
This is the only driveable/driftable e36 coupe in the entire country for $2,500 or less! Given that the owner claims a maintenance history we’d want to verify that along with looking at the carfax and giving the car a thorough PPI.
