2007 Mazda RX8 with a 6-speed. The car has a clean blue title but based on the rattling sound coming from the exhaust is probably going to need an engine rebuild for a failed apex seal. When the car was last parked it did fire up and move under its own power(barely), but now the engine turns over but does not start. This is a great car to drive and I wanted to do the rebuild myself, but with a baby on the way and projects piling up its got to go.Aside from the engine the car does have some other issues you should be aware of.- A possible clogged cat. I suspect this is what caused the engine failure but havent had a chance to troubleshoot. This will need to be checked out along with the rebuild- The driver side window only rolls down about half way then sticks- We have two keys but neither has a FOB.- The rear bumper cover on the passenger side has popped out of place- The passenger side door has a leak. This leads to water pooling on the floorboard during heavy rain. There is of course the other normal wear and tear you can expect on a 14 year old car like minor dingers, scratches, etc as well, but these are the big issues any potential buyer should be aware of.
